Cecilia co-founded Aneira after having led the Oxford Big Data Institute, where she has headed large teams of experts in biostatistics and data science, working to solve critical biomedical challenges. A leading genomics professor at Oxford, Cecilia specializes in women’s health and cardio-metabolic conditions. With hundreds of influential scientific papers to her credit, she’s driven by a desire to turn her research into real-world solutions that improve the health and lives of the women we serve.

Chris co-founded Aneira driven by his fundamental belief that science and technology can and must positively transform health outcomes. He joins from being the CEO of Genomics England, which partnered with the NHS to introduce the world’s first nationwide whole genome sequencing diagnostic service, and previously co-led QuantumBlack, a machine learning consultancy, from a small london office to a global 600-person team. He brings that experience and passion to innovate at scale to everything Aneira does.

Nikita is a practicing GP and the former head of Primary Care for the NHS in England, where she negotiated the 5-year contract for primary care, navigated the covid pandemic response and led the national and local implementation of the largest and most complex vaccination programme in history. She advocates for women and underrepresented groups in many leadership roles, including as UN Women UK Delegate. She brings both her policy expertise and her frontline, lived experience as a doctor with a special interest in woman’s health, serving the diverse communities of Lewisham.

Ingrid is a Gynaecology Consultant and subspecialist in reproductive medicine. She joins Aneira having spent the last 10 years working both as an NHS clinician and as a research Professor at the University of Oxford. Alongside this, Ingrid has had a number of roles in senior NHS leadership. She brings decades of experience delivering and transforming women’s healthcare for the many.

Matt is a seasoned tech and product leader with a track record of building & scaling all sorts of companies, from small early stage start-ups to global tech departments comprising hundreds of people. In his previous role as CTO of international health-tech scale up Sonder, Matt delivered novel digitally-enabled medical & mental health services to hundreds of thousands of people. Matt brings deep knowledge of blending digital and in-person care, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences at scale.
